Community Hub Drop-in
The Community Drop-in is the cornerstone of Community Northern Beaches where we meet, greet and foster connections and rapport with our guests. We strive to make this space as welcoming and safe as possible. Because of this, we get the opportunity and privilege to reach out to and hear from, people who are experiencing challenges and obstacles that inhibit flourishing in their lives. We are always seeking to do this in the most appropriate and sensitive ways, acknowledging and validating people’s experiences. We believe so strongly that being trauma-informed and as person-centred as possible is the best way to earn trust and an invitation for us to walk alongside people, providing information, support, advocacy and referrals.
Through the generosity of local bakeries, our Cafe Bar is filled with freshly baked pastries and bread daily. Pop in for some hot tea/coffee/hot chocolate and grab a pastry or two.
We see ourselves as stewards of the generous donations made by the community. Anyone that walks through our doors in need can be provided with clothing, food and toiletries upon request.
